Without a doubt in-person church services are truly missed. With the world in quarantine thank goodness for online services. Gathering around the TV to watch Sunday morning church service makes me think of the Believers in the Bible during the times after Jesus went home to set at the right hand of God our Father. The advantage being we have technology and the Bible! We don’t have to travel miles or wait on hand written letters. We have everything we need to know Jesus Christ for ourselves at our fingertips.
Although the temple is no longer needed like days of Old Testament times because we are temples containing the Holy Spirit, some people are more concerned and invested in the church building and the regularly scheduled tasks of tradition then the (church) Body of Christ.
If the church buildings never opened their doors again what would you do? Would your relationship with Jesus suffer or flourish?
While it is great that we serve in church none of that matters at the end of the day when we stand before Jesus. Let’s truly be the hands and feet of Jesus and be concerned for the disadvantaged and invested in cultivating Fruits of the Spirit 🍎🍐🍊🍓🍉🥝🍒 I am excited for what God is doing in people during this time and the manifestation in church services across the world.
There are so many new Gospel albums out right now!!! Rickey Dillard’s CHOIRMASTER, Kierra Shepard’s KIERRA, Tye Tribbett’s WE GON’ BE ALRIGHT and more I am 🤗🤗 so excited!! Gospel music doesn’t come out as frequent as it should but there are mounds of oldies but goodies: John P. Kee, Anthony Brown and G.A., Tye Tribbett, ever evolving Kirk Franklin. 💞
What are you listening to??🎶🎵🎶
When you give your life to Jesus. When you confess Him as Lord and Savior of your life, your very soul, He will change you.
It’s so natural feeling you get a thought or idea and you just flow with it. The things you say, do and think on become (Holy) spirit led. Now if ever you may slide and indulge in self (any type of addictive behavior) you are out of Gods will and must swiftly realign yourself into submission to Gods will through Jesus Christ.
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”
Philippians 1:6 NLT
And as I look back over life’s many trials, tribulations and circumstances one thing’s for sure. God is faithful. Think of it like this, you are committed to a lot of things but your commitment doesn’t equal perfection, Jesus Christ is the only perfect human to ever walk the earth. We are perfected by time, experiences and relationship/consistency.
So don’t give up, don’t throw in the towel because God is faithful and is not able to ever give up on you!!
Jesus has been here since time began. The living, active word of God.
Wrapped in flesh do you really think he cared about how he looked?
The creator and created all at once
The beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega.
First and last
He who is and was and is to come
All encompassing God
He knows us personally, cares about us.
Calls us brother/sister, friend…
Ephesians 1 ; Isaiah 53
